Bit's and Pieces - I am with Arrington

This is a bit of fun for me, nothing too serious and usually fun quick posts. Here you will find general stuff that I collect from my web wanderings. Plus quick posts that are too long for twitter and stuff I want to post quickly and simply.

Michael Arington posted a story today on TechCrunch regarding the fact that AP is trying to make it’s own rules up regarding the use of it’s content. This in total disregrd for “Fair Use” rules. I agree with Arrington in that they are doing it to protect their dying business model.

Threats to sue and make up their own laws as they go in a last ditch for self presivation. Screw A.P I am with Arrington - A.P don’t exist. I know I can quote directly from TechCrunch without fear of recriminations:

…new policy on A.P. stories: they don’t exist. We don’t see them, we don’t quote them, we don’t link to them. They’re banned until they abandon this new strategy…

I too would encourage others to do likewise.
